My Writing Problem

I apologize that I am not posting as often, I am having a hard time thinking of what to write 😁.  As you pretty much all know by now, I love to read. I also love to write, for the past few years I have tried and tried again to come up with a great plot for a book and unfortunately, I keep coming up with new ideas, but I always get stuck. I can write ideas and scenes, but I have a hard time transitioning scenes. As the result of this problem, I have an unfortunate tendency to give up the idea all together. To try and fix this problem I have consolidated my ideas into two books, one an original fantasy book and the other, a combination of fairytales and other stories (I will only be using the characters). But unfortunately, right now I have writer's block. I can't come up with anything good! It is a very sad time to go through, especially if you love writing like I do. I am hoping that it goes away soon so I can keep writing my book(s). I tried to write some yesterday and I wrot

Today is the birthday of the late Dr. Seuss. 

I am sure that you have probably heard of him before, most Americans have. But did you know that Dr. Seuss isn't actually his name. Dr. Seuss is only his pen name. His actual name is Theodor Seuss Geisel, and he was born on March 2, 1904, in Springfield, Massachusetts. 

He was an American author and illustrator, probably most famous for his beginner books, which are filled with his creative and colorful characters. During World War II Dr. Seuss served in the U.S. Army for three years, and after his service ended, he went into the film industry. In 1957 he moved on from the filming industry and he published two of his most famous works: The Cat in the Hat and How the Grinch Stole Christmas, both of these books have been made into many film adaptions. Dr. Seuss died at age 87, on September 24, 1991, in La Jolla, California.

Seuss is the author of over 50 books, and while I have not read all of his books, I have read a few of them, which I grew up reading and listening to. 

Here are three of my favorite Dr. Seuss books that I grew up with. 😁

Many of the Dr. Seuss books have been turned into movies or television shows, such as How the Grinch Stole Christmas, The Grinch, Horton Hears a Who, The Cat and the Hat, and The Lorax.

    I love Dr. Seuss books! One I remember from my childhood is the book "There's a Wocket in My Pocket". I thought the small characters he illustrated were so cute! I have really loved all of the film and tv adaptations, but I would have to say the 1966 Grinch cartoon is my favorite!

      I just saw this and I had to agree!! lol My family watches the 1966 Grinch cartoon every Christmas and it's our favorite :))

    I liked the Star-Belly Sneetches because of the analogy of the issues with human diversity!

    My favorite had to be Hop on Pop just because I read it so many times when I was little, and I have so many good memories associated with it <3
