NaNOWriMo

I kind of forgot to post this sometime last month...
It was meant for the beginning of November but here we are. I haven't written much this past month but now that school is done, I should be able to write more.
Here we go...
NaNoWriMo.
This is something that I hadn't heard of before a few weeks ago but apparently its popular.
NaNoWriMo stands for National Novel Writing Month where writers are challenged to write as much of their wip (work in progress) as possible. My goal for each of my books is to write three plus chapters. Hopefully after school is over in a few weeks I will be able to get more done.
I honestly need a FINISH one of my books.
I decided to give this a try considering I have around...
*counts the amount of novels in progress
As of right now I have around 5 novels I am working on. Actually 4 because one is a short story.
Sadly, I discard many of my ideas because I either got tired of them of I got stuck somewhere in the plot and gave up. I give up a lot actually. It's really sad and I should probably stop doing that.
None of my wips actually have titles so they are just named after the general idea for now. As of right now I have a bunch that I don't really feel like mentioning right now.
I am really hoping to post more on each individual book (also it should keep me accountable to actually write) and so y'all can see my writing because I also need to get used to that.
Writing Process ig?
All of my novels right now are in between 500 and 2,500 words so I'm hoping to get the number up because it's really sad to look at right now.
I try to write consistently but I get stuck a lot.
I am currently writing a Nutcracker retailing and I am trying to get Clara out of her home so that I can start the fun part-creating the Land of Sweets etc. So yeah, it's kind of taking a while because I am trying not to rush, it is slow going right now.
To Sum it All Up
I haven't written much. Maybe like 6,000 words? I did start rewriting one of my books because I wanted it to be longer (I only wrote like three pages before).
What Actually Happened
I did write some. I started writing a book or two and I actually finished the first chapter so that was really encouraging. I am planning to try and write 500 words a day or every two days so that I can start making some good progress.
Sorry this post took so long to get out!
